Quaint little restaurant with a nice atmosphere however we waited approximately 40 minutes and still didn’t receive our order. When asked how much longer we were told there was one order ahead of us and was surprised as there couldn’t have been anyone ahead of us. We left hungry but the coffee was free. Will not go back.

I ordered the country fried steak and it was great, I also ate some of my uncles pancakes and they were delicious! Very nice staff. Small restaurant, felt very comfy. I live about an hour away &stopped in with family because we were meeting halfway between us for a pick up. We well probably mask make this our permanent meet up spot.

Fantastic restaurant. Food is reasonably priced $18 for me and my wife. Waiter was very sweet and food came out as fast as our favorite Mexican restaurant. Very impressed and will likely be returning. Only complaint is they were playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving!

Great little place to eat.

Goochland restaurant has been a staple in the Goochland courthouse for as long as I can remember. It serves up some good home cooking. You can't go wrong with a stop in there anytime. Great comfort food

This was the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Sausage patty was disgusting like it was frozen then microwaved. Biscuits tasted like they were also frozen then heated. My wife saw pancake mix you buy from the grocery store and shake in the jug. We had a party that took up two tables and they served half of us and 30 Minutes last the other half of us got our. Was about to walk out.

Food was yummy and "down home" cooking. Service was good. Little hiccup with our ticket but the staff made it right. Mistakes happen but they made it right. We will be back :)

This place has been in my county for YEARS and I can only hope it stays for many more too.. its quaint, quiet, comfortable, and charming with the history of goochland decorated within its door. The food is good and the staff is as friendly as can be.

Nice place, nice people. The food was ok but the pancakes did not taste that great and the sausage gravy was disappointing. It tasted like a white sauce with bits of very cheep sausage bits. It's so easy to make great sausage gravy not sure what happened.

I love this place, it reminds me of Mayberry, everyone treats you like they have known you for years

HORABBLE! waited for half an hour FOR 3 BURGERS that should have taken like 10 minutes to make and there excuse was there were too many pancakes and they had a little space to cook them on.Then when we got our food they were small and less quality of Mcdonald's burgers so don't waste your time there if i could i would rate this dump 0 stars!

It felt like eating breakfast at home with family and friends here. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Very welcoming environment especially for a traveler.

Goochland was the first Restaurant in Goochland, it has been in business for 60 + years. They are open for Breakfast and lunch only, seven days week. This is where the locals hang out and you can always find out the lastest news and local gossip. Great food, good service, cozy atmosphere.

45 minutes for a bologna burger and chicken salad sandwich... they claim its because "theres lots of tickets". Well, in the ENTIRE time we waited, litterally 2 plate of pancakes came out to another table. No other food even came out of the kitchen.... smh.. would have been better off going to McDonalds... BEST EXCUSE EVER for why it took 45 minutes... "we couldn't make your burger because we have a tiny grill and had to make like 10 pancakes" haha.. so, 10 pancakes is enough to shut this place down for 45 minutes??!!??

There is not a big selection of restaurants in Goochland and one can easily overlook this place because it's not flashy but they have really good, simple food that has a lot of flavor. Good portions and prices are definitely fair. Right in the heart of Goochland near the Post Office.

This is our new favorite small town restaurant! Great comfort food and service. Plenty of parking. Very comfortable!

I have eaten here once but I plan on coming back. It was a plain, simple country breakfast diner. The food was good enough for the price paid. The service was excellent. It got the job done and I have no complaints. Breakfast was enjoyable even.

Oh my gosh! Such good food! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Best Steak & Cheese I've come across in 150 miles! OR try their Egg Salad Sandwich on a croissant, also very good. OR their Reuben, also very good. They have Greek and other salads I've not tried but I bet they're good too. And who doesn't love Sweet Potato Fries? The cook/owner is just who you enjoy seeing when you stop into your favorite corner Deli/Market. He prepares very good food, is friendly and gracious and always thanks you for stopping in. But wait, there's more. From local to imported pestos, oils, chips and chocolates, there's something for everyone just passing through or from across the street. I believe it is also known as:Courthouse Market & GrillENJOY!
